Harriet May Massoletti

Harriet May Massoletti was born Sunday morning at 10 o’clock 6 November 1853.

Harriet May married Benjamin Franklin Wright on 31 May 1876. They were 1st cousins, once removed. Benjamin was born 21 Aug 1848, son of Richard and Emily Wright. Emily Wright was Sarah Horwell Massoletti’s sister. Benjamin and Harriet had 3 sons, twins B Frank Jr and John and Lawrence Wright. Frank and John became undertakers in Washington, DC.

Benjamin Franklin Wright died 18 April 1895 as result of injuries from gunshot wounds, an attempted suicide. He is buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, DC.

Harriet May died 4 October 1817. She is buried at Glenwood Cemetery in Washington, DC in the Wright family plot.
